Is the Droid Charge a guy phone? Help!?

I am in the market for a new phone. I am a girl in my 30's and still have a flip phone. But I am torn between the Iphone 4 and the Droid Charge. I was never an Apple person but I did here it's a thin sleek fast little phone. But the Droid Charge has a crystal clear beautiful screen and alot of other things too. It's a big phone and I'm wondering if that will be a problem at all. Since I am new to the touchscreen, maybe I need bigger to help me get around better, but I could be wrong. Do many women get the Droid? I know all the girls and younger girls go for the Iphone, but I still have my heart set on the Droid. I just want to get what will be better and easier for me. I am a big texter and would like to use the phone to browse the internet too as well as Facebook. Does anyone have any advice for me? Does the Droid's camera have a flash? Also when you send texts, how do you know the other person got it? Does it show a check mark like the flip phones do? Thank you so much!!
