My parents took my ipod and my phone but i found them..?

Ok so i got in ALOT of trouble and they took my phone and my ipod and my laptop. Basically in order to keep me away from "socializing" with my "bad" friends. I found where there hiding them i took my ipod for 1 day but i left the case and the headphones behind and i left the case facing upside down so you couldnt really tell it was missing. I would like to take my ipod back for music purpouses, is it a good idea to just take it and do what i did last time? Or should i leave it be? Or should i come up with a decoy ipod? (its a ipod touch btw)
