What phone should i buy?

I was thinking about an android but I just can't decide. What do u think about motorola droid 3 or htc or whatever u suggest even if its not android. I was thinking about htc too but heard from somewhere that it gives a lot of problems, is it true, I mean like it hangs and stuff?
