I run a small ltd. company on top of a permanent role that is my main source of income through PAYE. At the moment, as the company director, I don't claim a salary so most of the money in the business is profit. On this, I have to pay coorporation tax. I'm wondering though whether I should take 12k pa as a salary to reduce my tax liabilities? The ltd. company is only turning over around 35k this year. Any advice?
